Thank You for Visiting! I help people of all ages - newborn through adult - using CranioSacral Therapy (CST). New clients usually find me after they have tried everything else and are ready, sometimes desperate, to try something new. This is not a massage but a very gentle and subtle technique that may be the key to help unlock stress, pain and tension patterns in the body. In order to best serve my clients, I further my education every year with advanced techniques and training. Your session is a science-backed therapy which is balanced with my intuitive approach towards overall health and wellbeing. Read more about my personal story with CranioSacral Therapy here.
Science Behind the Therapy Extensive scientific studies were conducted from 1975 to 1983 at Michigan State University by Dr. John Upledger, an osteopathic physician, who served as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics during that time. After the studies, he pioneered and developed CranioSacral Therapy. Eventually he left Michigan State University and started the Upledger Institute which has trained over 125,000 therapists worldwide. (Information from the Upledger.com website.)
